Printing is your opportunity to let your product sell itself. Attractive, high quality printing allows your product to be the most desirable one on the shelf.

At Foster Packaging, we can now offer print runs on as little as 350kg of material - giving the benefit of high quality printing to the smaller user.

Using the lates Roto Gravure printing technology, we print in full high definition colour with up to a 9-colour print process with eiither a matt or gloss finish. We are also able to do a a matt/gloss combination, plus the option of newly developed pearlised inks to give your product a visual edge.

Gravure Printing:

Gravure printing is characteristically used for long run, high quality printing producing a sharp fine image.

The image is etched on the surface of a metal plate.

The etched area is filled with ink, then the plate is rotated on a cylinder that transfers the image onto the paper or other material.

Flexographic Printing:

Flexographic printing is a high speed printing process that uses quick drying inks.

This type of printing can be used on plastic, foil, acetate film, brown paper and other materials used in packaging.

Flexography uses flexible printing plate made with rubber or plastic.
